Description

The 4th International Academy of Management and Business (IAMB) 2008 conference provides a platform for professionals, practitioners, academics, educators and researchers in the various fields of management and business to disseminate the latest research, knowledge and experiences.

IAMB fosters a small conference setting (under 200 participants) with multi national delegates. The small setting offers professional development opportunities for scholars and practitioners through personal contacts and networking. Past IAMB conferences attracted scholars from 15-20 different countries covering wide range of universities, academic institutions and businesses. The friendly atmosphere, the one on one opportunity for exchange and networking, and the multi national exposure were cited among the top benefits from conference attendees.

Scholars and practitioners are invited to submit papers, symposia and posters for presentation. The conference focuses on discussions covering, but is not limited to, these topics:
• Organizational Studies (Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Conflict & Negotiation and Education & Training)
• International Studies (Int. Business, Cross Cultural Mgt. and Globalization)
• Technology Management (Innovation and Technology and Research & Operations)
• Strategic Management (Business Policy, Outsourcing and Strategic Mgt)
• Marketing Management

All accepted submissions for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings on a CD ROM and online. Selected papers will be published in the IAMB Journal.
