From Promises to Practice 12-16 April 2008
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing BioVisionAlexandria 2008 from 12 to 16 April, 2008 in Alexandria . The conference will be a continuation of the tradition that started in BioVision 1999 in Lyon , which aims to bring distinguished speakers in discussions commemorating science and the finest achievements of the human intellect.
This venue will commence with a “Nobel Day”, as so successfully done both in BioVisionAlexandria and in BioVision in Lyon in previous years. The Nobel Day will be dedicated to Nobel laureates and will honor the scientists whose vision and perseverance in the quest for scientific innovation changed lives and transformed our world. This prestigious event which includes some of the greatest minds worldwide will be followed by the three-day conference, BioVisionAlexandria 2008.
The conference will be attended by a number of Nobel Laureates, distinguished keynote speakers, eminent scientists, CEO’s of several national and multinational companies and Ministers of Health and Agriculture from the four corners of the globe, all aiming to establish constructive dialogues on Health, Food, Agriculture, Industry and Environment topics; as well as exchange remarkable information in the biotechnological field.
