On behalf of Congress Organizing Committee it is our great pleasure and privilege to invite you to attend the Science Nordic Congress to be held at cruise ship Regina Baltica on the line Riga-Stockholm-Riga and in Stockholm Rival Hotel October, 11-13, 2007.

The Science Nordic Congress of Family and laboratory medicine which is organized in close co-operation of Associations of laboratory specialists, family doctors and microbiologists will be devoted to a very challenging program focusing on the recent medical researches and their practical use in different areas of family and laboratory medicine. The standard ISO/IEC 17025:1999 and the later ISO 15189:2003 focus more than previous standards on evaluation and documentation of pre-analytical events in laboratory processes. The fruitful cooperation between clinical and laboratory communities becomes more and more relevant.

We are confident that the Science Nordic Congress will satisfy you scientifically, culturally and socially, and that you take home new ideas and new friendships.

Congress preliminary program is comprehensive with last scientific findings in the some aspects of the practical medicine to satisfied needs of laboratory specialists and clinicians.

We are looking forward to welcoming you for the Science Nordic Congress of Family and laboratory medicine.

Dzintars Ozolins

President of the Congress

Chairman of the board of the Latvian Society of laboratory specialists
