IQPC Maritime Safety and Security 2007 conference will deliver more practical case studies of successful maritime safety and security operations in Africa.
The aim of this years’ conference will be to provide a platform for all relevant government and NGOs to come together and discuss the problems faced by maritime safety and security. The conference will provide an opportunity for all the major role players, including Fisheries to discuss and debate their responsibilities and involvement in order to find possible solutions for the future.
Research has shown that South Africa is a maritime nation with a 1,5-million km2 economic exclusion zone (EEZ), while its naval and coastal guard forces are small considering the area to be secured. The same accounts for many coastal states all over Africa. IQPC wants to address these needs by offering you practical and workable solutions to overcome where possible, and to minimise these threats maritime nations are facing all over Africa. …
