Rail Investment South East Europe (RISEE2007)
|Event Date/Time: Sep 06, 2007||End Date/Time: Sep 07, 2007|
With Slovenia having joined the EU and other Southern European countries hoping to become the next accession states, railways in the former Balkan countries are now undergoing massive redevelopment processes in all aspects of Infrastructure and Rolling Stock. A large proportion of the investment focuses around Trans European Corridor X and the adjoining networks. Corridor X is a major freight corridor between Europe, Mediterranean ports, the Middle East and Asia. Interoperability along this axis is important for the profitability of all the rail companies along the corridor. For this reason Rail Investment South East Europe 2006 held in Zagreb in February 2006 was a huge success because it attracted the senior level delegates from each of the regional railway companies.
Rail Investment South East Europe 2007 will again bring together the senior figures from the region for what is a must attend event.
