The Beyster Institute at the Rady School of Management, in partnership with the Rady Center for Executive Development, present Managing in an Employee-Owned Company. This three-day course focuses on “best practices” in the management of companies in which the employees own equity interests. Designed for managers and executives, the course covers the legal and regulatory challenges, including corporate governance arrangements, fiduciary responsibilities, and the role of employee ownership in corporate transactions. Practical applications of the principles of employee ownership in the day to day operation of the business will be presented, including an examination of the roles and responsibilities of managers, financial literacy training for employee-owners, and building a high-performance ownership culture.
