Description

The 6th CollECTeR Iberoamérica, will be held from Wednesday 25 June through Friday 27 June 2008 in Madrid, Spain, organized by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. CollECTeR Iberoamérica 2008 comes right after the Bled eConference giving delegates the opportunity to attend both conferences within two weeks.

CollECTeR (Collaborative Electronic Communications and eCommerce Technology and Research) is a joint venture undertaken by universities all over the world, thus providing both depth and breadth of expertise in electronic Communications and Commerce.

CollECTeR Iberoamérica is an annual international conference which aims to attract high quality papers in both social and technical aspects of Electronic Communications and eCommerce. It was first initiated as CollECTeR LatAm in 2003 organized by Universidad de Talca in Chile and changed to the current name in 2006 incorporating Spain as a partner and welcoming the incorporation of Portugal. Participants from all over Iberoamérica are especially welcome, and information on possible sponsors will be offered on its site.

Additional Information

Research papers should cover original work and be unpublished. Papers may describe either completed research in a full 5000-words paper or work in progress in a short 2000-words paper. All accepted (and thus published) papers must have at least one author who is a registered attendee presenting the paper in the conference. All submissions will be peer-reviewed and submissions accepted will be published in regular ISBN proceedings. Authors of the best papers written in English will be invited to submit extended version of their papers, which will be further peer-reviewed for potential inclusion in special issues of the Journal of Theoretical and Applied electronic Commerce Research (JTAER). Simultaneous English-Spanish Spanish-English interpretation will be offered for the technical presentations. Although papers written in Spanish and Portuguese will be also accepted, we strongly recommend submission of the English version. Technical translation services have been recommended to us for authors who wish to have their papers translated from Spanish or Portuguese to English or Spanish to English. * Official languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese. * Template for article: author_guidelines.doc.
