This highly interactive 5 day training course provides an in-depth study of all the main aspects of local content including government policy, oil company strategies and the role of service companies. It will explore key issues that affect the development of local supply chains including; regulatory frameworks, tools for technology transfer, training, partnership, geopolitical and social issues.
All themes will be illustrated by intensive critical review of case studies drawn from the global range of local content experience over the past several decades. Simulation exercises throughout the week will allow participants to contribute in the development of a local content strategy for a fictitious company.
The course presents the best industry practices in the field and is led by course leaders with extensive knowledge in dealing with local content issues and experienced guest speakers who will add their perspectives on the strategies.
