Description

Electricity is critical for economic growth, high standards of living, comfort and satisfaction of needs. Electricity production, transmission and consumption create substantial environmental effects. However, not all kilowatts are born equal, and the environmental imprints and social costs vary significantly, depending on the fuel or energy source used to generate the electricity. For two days the speakers, moderators and participants at the CERI 2007 Electricity Conference address these impacts and implications. Participants will have the opportunity to directly engage some of North America’s top specialists and experts as they examine the major issues in providing reliable power for a modern, booming economy.
