The Workshop aims to bring together professionals and the scientific community in the fields of finance, banking, and environmental economics.
Global threats to banks and financial systems can no longer be ignored, either by researchers or by market professionals. Trading strategies, risk management, insurance, derivatives pricing, and many other applications in banks and financial markets could be disrupted, or at least made vulnerable to global threats.
These global threats are now numerous, and we expect to receive submissions dealing with the following:
- environmental threats (climate change, biodiversity, water, …)
- natural catastrophes (Catbonds and the consequences of earthquakes, inundations, storms, hurricanes, …)
- terrorism and geopolitical risks;
- pandemics;
- sustainable development and financial systems
