New this year, the Conference will feature parallel tracks with invited talks in non-overlapping technical sessions. Also, the Conference will contain a planned session on Detecting and Protecting Against Terrorist Surveillance.

The conference will be chaired by Ambassador Henry Cooper of High Frontier and Chairman of Applied Research Associates, Inc., Technical Program Chaired by Brig. General (Ret.) Phil Stowell, Applied Research Associates, and Program Development Chaired by Robert Hooks, Director of Transition of the US Department of Homeland Security. They will guide the conference towards solving real, imminent and developing threats to our Nation.

Transportation Security focused on Chemical, Biological and High Explosives with special sessions on Radiological /-Nuclear. Both Transportation focus areas will emphasize their own specific technology issues with respect to detection, prevention, response, and recovery.
Infrastructure Protection and Cyber Security with the emphasis on protecting the financial sector, communication sand electric power networks, focusing on SCADA systems and threats to the chemical and refinery sectors
Incident Management, Information Sharing, and Interoperability technologies, high level risk assessment and supporting technoilogies of modeling and simulation emphasizing tools development
