The Department of Accounting, Kulliyyah of Economics and Management
Sciences, INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA (IIUM) is pleased to
announce that the IIUM International Accounting Conference IV (INTAC
IV) will be held on the 24th to 25th of June 2008 in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
The OBJECTIVES of the conference are to:
•Provide a forum for academics, professionals, students and others
interested in understanding the interaction between Accounting and
Finance, as well as other various related disciplines, particularly in
relation to integrating the elements of Islam.
•Promote and encourage interdisciplinary accounting related research to
further enrich the development of accounting.
•Cater for the specific educational and professional accounting needs of
Muslim countries and Islamic Institutions
Academicians, practitioners and graduate students are invited to submit
high quality papers in accounting and related areas, and participate in
the conference.

All interested paper presenters are suggested to observe the following
deadlines:
# Abstract Submission : 15th November 2007
# Notification of acceptance of abstract: 15th December 2007
# Full Paper Submission : 1st February 2008
# Notification of acceptance of complete paper : 15th March 08
All papers will be subject to a blind review and must be written in
English. Authors are requested to submit their abstracts and papers
