This Autumn, East Euro Link continues its expansion into the Asian markets with an eagerly awaited UK conference on Protecting Intellectual Property Rights in China on November 15th at The Brewery Conference Centre in London. This will be a tremendous opportunity for companies involved in the Chinese market to make contact with law firms, IP specialists, government representatives and international agencies in order to enhance their understanding and develop new business relationships. Simultaneously, lawyers will have the opportunity to market their services to numerous prospective clients.

Issues such as piracy and counterfeiting have affected many companies from a range of sectors involved in the Chinese market, while political circumstances have severely restricted the enforcement of intellectual property rights. For many businesses in the UK and further afield, there are severe concerns about protecting intellectual property in China, whether it be patents, copyrights, trademarks or domain names. The expert speakers at this event will seek to provide an accurate assessment of the situation and to detail effective strategies in protection, litigation and prosecution.

The strong line up of speakers will be divided into three sections, highlighting the status and issues concerned with IPR in China, followed by a legal masterclass in IPR protection and litigation and an outlook for businesses engaging in the Chinese market. There will also be a panel discussion on legal methods and several opportunities for asking questions and networking.
