Financing CEE Transport Infrastructure
Venue: The Brewery Conference Centre
Location: London, United Kingdom
Event Date/Time: Nov 28, 2007 | End Date/Time: Nov 28, 2007 |
Description
There is a constant need for investment in Transport Infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe, and in recent years the drive towards Public Private Partnerships in particular has taken precedence. Yet the scope for private investment and the levels of success have varied between different regions, with significant public funding in the EU contrasting to different finance models in the CIS region. This conference will analyse and identify trends, strategies and profitable areas for investment in the sector, drawing upon recent case studies and initiatives.
The strong line up of speakers will be divided into three sections, highlighting the methods and opportunities for private investment, followed by an analysis of finance requirements and openings in road, rail and airport infrastructure, and a special focus on the emerging CIS region. Finally, there will be an overview of public and state finance in the industry and legal guidelines for private investors involved in CEE. There will also be a panel discussion on Identifying Profitable Investment Opportunities, and the chance to ask questions and network with key players in the industry.
