It is our pleasure to invite you to the forthcoming International Conference (Chaos2008) on Chaotic Modeling, Simulation and Applications ( The study of nonlinear systems and dynamics has emerged internationally as a major area of interdisciplinary research over the last two decades. This conference is intended to provide a widely selected forum among Scientists and Engineers to exchange ideas, methods, and techniques in the field of Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos, Fractals and their applications in General Science and in Engineering Sciences.
The decision to organise this conference emerged from several discussions with people who joined the large 12th ASMDA2007 Conference which we have organised in Chania, Greece ( and expressed the willingness to participate in an international conference in the broad field including and exploring the interactions of Chaos and Nonlinear models with Data Analysis and Deterministic and Stochastic modeling and their Applications to various fields.
The principal aim of Chaos2008 International Conference is to facilitate the development of the theories of applied nonlinear science, the methods, the empirical data, the computer techniques, and the best theoretical developments of chaotic theory as well. Chaos2008 Conference provides a forum for bringing the various groups working in the area of Nonlinear Systems and Dynamics, Chaotic theory and Application on a single platform for exchanging views and reporting research findings.

Topics and Special Sessions Proposed

The Conference includes three types of presentations
• Key Note Presentations on the main topics of the Symposium selected by the Program Committee;
• Contributed papers or posters proposed by authors;
• Invited specialized sessions proposed from people working in a special topic of the Chaotic field and accepted by the Program Committee.
Every Special Session includes 4-5 presentations.

Abstracts, Regular Papers and Special and Invited Sessions*:
• January, 31, 2008: submission of abstracts*, extended abstracts or regular papers (up to 6 pages) and proposals for special and invited sessions.
• February, 20, 2007: notification of acceptance.
• March, 30, 2007: final version of the paper
• *If only an abstract is submitted it will be included in the Abstracts Volume. The papers submitted, upon acceptance, will be included in the Conference Proceedings.

Special and Invited Sessions:
• After acceptance of the proposal, each promoter of the session will be responsible for his/her session (including the review process of the papers of his/her session; 4 - 5 papers per session) and will chair it.
