The 3rd Dubai International Food Safety Conference is organized by the Dubai Municipality and held along side Gulfood Exhibition, the region’s largest and the most important food industry event. The first conference was held in 2006 and ever since it has gained so much of popularity and is one of its kinds in the region.
DIFSC offers delegates a unique opportunity to interact with leading experts and gain insights into current food safety issues and the latest developments in food safety management. Presentations by eminent speakers from selected regions of the world and their close interaction with the delegates during the Meet the Expert program and Workshops on food safety management will make the 3rd DIFSC one of the most outstanding conferences in the region.
Apart from being a source of current and accurate scientific information on food safety, the conference will also provide enormous opportunities for the participants to know more about the current food regulations. In an attempt to eliminate regulatory differences and to increase transparency, clarity and efficiency of current food regulations, Dubai International Food Safety conference has launched the Tackle the Issue program based on a cooperative approach between industry and government. The largest-ever meeting of its kind, the forum will bring together policy makers from the food, health, agriculture and trade sectors of Gulf countries and the representatives from the local, foreign and multinational food firms on a single platform with an aim to share and improve the efficiency and transparency in food regulatory systems.
