The 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICETET-2008) is to be held under the umbrella of the
KES Centre, Australia at G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, INDIA on July 16–18, 2008. It brings together the international
community of researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements and future directions in the areas of knowledge based
engineering systems. The conference welcomes paper submissions from researchers, practitioners, academicians and students, and will cover myriad topics in the engineering; technology and science, but not limited to the following:

PLENARY SESSIONS, REGULAR PAPER SESSIONS, SHORT PAPER SESSIONS AND POSTER PAPER SESSIONS:
The conference will feature discussions and presentations on emerging and exciting topics of interest. Discussions and presentations on
specialized topics will be held during the Plenary sessions, Regular Paper Sessions, Short Paper Sessions and Poster Paper Sessions. The plenary sessions are intended to promote the awareness of recent happenings in the engineering, technology and science. Regular Paper Sessions, Short Paper Sessions and Poster Paper Sessions are intended to share the knowledge of the researchers. The conference proceedings will include all papers from regular paper sessions, short paper sessions and poster paper sessions.
Call for Contributed Papers: Papers are invited in the form of regular manuscripts. All papers must conform to the submission policy, and describe previously unpublished original work and should not be under consideration of any conference or journal. All submissions will go through the double blind review. Depend on the quality of paper and review report; the accepted papers may categorize in regular paper sessions, short paper submissions and poster paper sessions.

Call for Special Sessions: Researchers who would like to organize one or more Invited Sessions on topics falling within the scope of the conference are invited to submit a proposal for consideration. The details are available on www.icetet.org
• Papers must be written in English and describe original work. Submitted papers, either for review or publication (after acceptance), must
be formatted in the standard IEEE double column Proceedings format and conform to the IEEE Explore requirements for PDF files. All
papers must be submitted through the conference submission website at www.icetet.org
• For the purposes of review, all papers are limited to 8 pages. Papers exceeding this limit will be rejected without review.
• For publication in the proceedings, accepted regular, short and poster papers are limited to 6, 4, 2 pages respectively. Papers are
allowed up to a maximum of an additional 2 pages, which is subjected to the normal page over length fee: For Indian Authors: 600 INR
per page, For SAARC Country Authors and Other Authors: 60 $ per page.
• Upon acceptance, at least one of the authors must register for the conference in order for the paper to be included in the proceedings.
• Conference Proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society, USA.
• All accepted papers will appear in IEEE Computer Society online store, IEEE-Xplore, IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital libraries, IEE INSPEC, EI(Compendex), Thomson ISI and other indexing services.
