the principle aim of this conference is to highlight the achievements of Kuwait Ministry of Public Works in all related fields. It also demonstrates selective distinguished projects particularly in the GCC and in the Arab world in general.
Furthermore, the conference shall discuss ways to improve Public Works projects through the application of new technologies. In the same time, it shall present a sound environment to human resource development via exchange of experiences and opinions at conference sessions.
The conference shall focus on the encouragement of engineers to take initiatives in documenting their completed projects and present such projects in technical sessions for discussion and analysis.
This conference is directed to the following:
*Planners, Designers, Supervisors, Operators, and *Maintenance personnel of Public Works Projects
*Personnel involving in Quality Control of Projects
*Contractors, Manufacturers, and Suppliers of Equipment and Materials
*Consultants
*Investors in Infrastructures Projects

Conference topics shall cover Planning, Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance, Human Resources Development, Merging Technologies, Finance, and Public- Private Sector Partnership in the following engineering fields:
1. Roads & Bridges
2. Environment, Sanitary drainage & Use of Treated Water
3. Public Buildings
4. Mega Projects of Special Structures
Abstracts submitted to the conference shall not exceed 300 words. Each abstract shall show title of paper, author's names, titles, positions, organizations, postal address, e-mail, and telephone numbers.
