This conference seeks to establish a vibrant and constructive global dialogue between senior industry executives, investors, central bankers, government policymakers and leading academics on how to radically improve eCommerce effectiveness and Internet Governance which includes the governance of Internet infrastructures, the governance of the content exchanged through the Internet, and the governance of organisations in the context of the information society. The plenary sessions will address issues and action plans, seeking to develop ideas and collaboration, to bring about the required change to overcome the structural difficulties which this critical industry currently faces.
Speakers with international reputations will give their views on the future of the eCommerce and Internet Governance which are strongly interdependent. We are also calling on the gurus of the new economy who have made it on the Internet to present on how we can steer eBusinesses in a better directions „Ÿ and to share the frustration of those who have failed. The conference will provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and promote interaction and collaboration between the researchers and practitioners.
Expected attendees are senior government executives, lawyers, central bankers, senior representatives from banking and insurance industry, corporate executives with strong interest in eCommerce, venture and private capital analysts, IT solution providers and management consultants and leading academics.
You can participate submitting a paper or organizing a workshop. Workshop organizers have the autonomy in promoting their sessions, reviewing the papers collected by them, appointing the possible additional reviewers for the session papers, accepting invited papers or talks (i.e. non reviewed papers), chairing their respective session(s) and appointing their co-organizer and/or co-chair.

The technical program of eCommerce & Internet Governance 2007 Conference will consist of keynote speeches, paper presentation and workshops of the oral presentations.
Full Papers: The conference is soliciting on all non-technical aspects of electronic commerce & Internet governance. Submitted papers will be evaluated on significance, originality, technical quality, and exposition. They should clearly establish the research and practical industrial contributions. All papers will be anonymously evaluated by two field experts. All accepted papers will be provided an oral presentation at the conference. Depending on the number and nature of accepted papers, there may be variation in the lengths of the oral presentations.
Workshops and Tutorials: Proposals are invited for high-quality half-day workshops and tutorials. Proposals should include a two-page description and motivation for the topic of the workshop, the full name and address of the workshop speaker(s), a concise description of the contents and goals of the workshop with a few keywords for each section, a rough estimate of the time spent on each section, the level of the workshop, the target audience, the required audience experience, and the speaker(s) biography with the listing of similar successful workshops presented in the past.
