In response to demand for a forum to explore the current events, technological developments, and training challenges of the global tourism industry, Travel Symposium 2007 will be convened across the globe in Lisbon, Portugal on 7 October; Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 22 October; and Beijing, China on 5 November.
Why: The objectives of this historic conference series are as follows:
1. To provide educators and trainers with an invaluable opportunity to learn from top experts in the
field and from representatives of leading suppliers in the tourism and hospitality industries.
2. To discover common issues shared by educators and trainers in the field of tourism and hospitality.
3. To give educators and trainers an open environment to network and build relationships.
What: Travel Symposium 2007 is a non-profit educational conference. All conference fees will be applied to help defray actual costs. The focus of this vital educational forum will be on e-learning methods, training techniques, and assessment, including specific topics of concern to educators, trainers, and travel managers in the tourism and hospitality fields.
