The Black Graduate Business Association (BGBA) will hold its 7th annual professional development symposium offering informative and explorative sessions focused on vital topics such as leadership, networking, and wealth building. The objective of the event is to provide participants with the skills to network
for career advancement, to identify their own leadership styles and assess its effectiveness, and to build financial wealth through informed investments. See below for specific session topics.
Leadership: You are only a leader if someone is willing to follow you.
Hear from experts who will share tools and
strategies for leadership development. Engage in dialogue and critical thinking about your own personal leadership style and how you can
continue to develop.

Success takes more than just good job performance and this session is designed to
address the importance of building your personal and professional network. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their networking skills through hands on exercises and interactions with corporate representatives and other participants.
