| Description |
The Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies (CCELS)
is proud to present its 3rd Annual Canadian
Conference on Elder Law. This international
conference is held annually in Vancouver, BC, and
welcomes participants from around the world to
participate and present at this unique event.
We are delighted to announce that this year's
Conference Keynote Address will be delivered by
the Right Honourable Chief Justice Beverley
McLachlin, P.C.; and the Dinner Principal Address will be
delivered by Mr. Michael Valpy, Senior Writer,
Globe and Mail.
The theme for this year's Conference is Moving
Forward, Moving Beyond. This year's streamed
program will focus on issues of Elder Justice,
including issues of elder abuse, neglect,
self-neglect, and criminal justice. We welcome
abstracts on a variety of topics affecting older
adults for workshops that do not require a paper
presentation.
The deadline for abstracts/proposals is 30 May
2007.
