3rd Istanbul Anti-Aging - Medical Aesthetics Congress and Exhibition
The prolongation of average life expectancy has increased the quality of life to a happier and healthier state. Up until now, medicine has rather focused on the treatment of diseases and early diagnosis. Yet today, the focus is more on preventive medicine and the quality of life. This new approach to medicine is called Anti-Aging in terms of its scope and purpose. If people are concerned about antiaging, this means they are questioning their way and quality of lives.
Anti-Aging is the beginning of a new era in medicine. Today's modern individual needs physicians not for the treatment of a certain disease, but rather for preventing possible diseases through regular check-ups. Anti-Aging procedures require preventive treatment and therapeutic interventions and a committed teamwork. For that reason, Anti-Aging encompasses a number of disciplines, such as Dermatology, Endocrinology, Metabolic Diseases, Nutrition, Neurology, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Urology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Ophthalmology and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
The Anti-Aging Research & Education Society, and The European Society for Anti-Aging Medicine (ESAAM) are jointly organizing The 3rd Istanbul Anti-Aging- Medical Aesthetics Congress and Exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey, in 31 October – 03 November 2007, Lütfi Kýrdar Rumeli Exhibition Center .
The Congress & Exhibition aims;

• to provoke & encourage new studies
• to share new ideas and knowledge in this field.
