| Description |
The Second LUMS International Conference on Mathematics and is Applications in Information Technology will be held on the beautiful campus of LUMS in March 2008 over four days. It will be attended by various world leaders in mathematics and postgraduate students. This conference will provide a forum for researchers and educators from around the world to present their results and exchange ideas and information in the latest developments in all areas of Mathematics.
The conference features 45 minute talks by keynote speakers, 30 minute talks by invited speakers and 20 minute talks by paper presenters. For more information, please visit Submission of Full Paper. Faculty members are encouraged to suggest to their PhD students that The Second LUMS Conference on Mathematics is an appropriate place to present their research papers.
The conference will cover a broad range of topics in Mathematical research. The topics include, but are not limited to:

Prizes will be awarded in the following two categories:
Young Speaker Award
Four prizes will be awarded to the speakers, who are registered for Ph.D degree in a recognized University and who have not completed their PhD by 29th February, 2008.
The Prizes are as under:-
** FIRST Prize
** SECOND Prize
** THIRD Prize
** CONSOLATION Prize
Overall Best Speaker
One Prize will be awarded to the Best Speaker presenting a contributed paper at the Conference.
