Automotive Comfort has become a Brand differentiator for passenger and commercial vehicle development programmes.
A holistic approach to comfort will be taken during this one day seminar, considering the driver/passenger within their driving environment on public roads. The focus on driver/passenger will then further consider both physical and emotional elements that the designer must consider.
Seating Comfort has a central theme but key presentations will also consider other aspects of the design that may impact on comfort and/or perceived comfort from the ambience of the interior to the impact of vehicle stability control algorithms such as ESP.
The seminar will be a guide to some of the latest developments of Automotive Comfort exploring the legal and medical considerations when designing vehicles to ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and addressing how to limit product liability exposure, particularly where vehicles are used for commercial purposes. The event will take a practical slant engrossing current best practice and ongoing areas of relevant research.
