| Description |
Phillyblocks 2007 – The Neighborhood Agenda” is the second annual city-wide conference sponsored by the Institute for the Study of Civic Values. The conference has grown out of Phillyblocks, the city-wide email network of more than 1,000 community leaders described above.
“Phillyblocks 2007 – The Neighborhoods Agenda” will bring neighborhood leaders together with representatives from the City Departments and the School District to discuss how we can improve the neighborhood environment, preserve neighborhood housing, make neighborhoods safe, promote positive youth development, and expand economic opportunity for neighborhood residents throughout the City. The conference will include workshops related to the topics mentioned above.
