Description There is growing interest in composites throughout the aerospace industry, due to their lightweight structure and corrosion resistance. The result of using composites also helps to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, which are important issues in the transport industry today due to strict targets being introduced by the government.

This seminar will discuss composite applications including airframes, propellers, aircraft fuselage and other transportation, and examine the advances in manufacturing methods, composite design and technological developments, in order to demonstrate how organisations can benefit from using composites.

Delegates will have the opportunity to:
• Gain an improved understanding of the latest developments in composites manufacture
• Assess the specific benefits of composite design, which will be illustrated by case studies
• Network with industry staff
