| Description |
The World Congress of NGOs, Ethics and Global Peace: NGO Perspectives, will address the issue of ethics and peace at all levels: from the individual to the global community.
NGOs have impacted lives and societies worldwide. With increased importance comes increased responsibility and accountability. More than ever before, nonprofit organizations are being called to operate transparently, and adhere to the highest code of ethical conduct of living in service to others. The Congress will explore the new NGO ethics paradigm, along with ethical challenges faced in the developing world.
Additionally, the World Congress of NGOs will be a unique crossroads for representatives of nonprofits, universities, governmental and intergovernmental agencies, funding bodies, among others, to share innovative ideas and practices, make relationships, and build strategic partnerships.
