| Description |
The 13th Annual Counseling Skills Conference will focus on trauma, mindfulness, more effective treatment, depression, self-harm, and will also include a specialized training track on pain and addiction. You will have the chance to Earn up to 24 (CEU's) continuing education units (6 hours are offered for the Ethics Pre-Conference Workshop, held on September 26).
Various disciplines and professionals in the Mental Health , Behavioral Health and Addiction related fields such as Social Workers, Nurses (RN) , Psychologists , Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) , Counselors (LPC) , Alcohol & Chemical Dependency Counselors , Behavioral Science Psychologists , and Psychotherapists ) are eligible to earn all 24 Board Approved CEU's.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an excellent conference featuring many prominent speakers. All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance , all you have to do is sign in once you are at the conference in order to verify your participation in the conference for your licensing or certification board.

<p align="left">1. To identify, classify and describe the various treatment strategies and modalities for chronic pain co-occurring with addiction.
2. To identify and describe treatment methods and modalities for:
a. Clients who self injure
b. Alcohol/drug relapse prevention
c. Trauma treatment.
3. To describe issues and techniques for patient engagement and compliance for more effective evidence based outcomes.
