The North Africa Journal is pleased to announce the holding of the 2008 North Africa petroleum and security forum. This year's them is "Positive Outlook Amid a Challenging Security Environment."
The event will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, Texas, and will focus on the following topics:

Introduction:
North Africa's oil and gas sector has been a magnet for intensive investments over the past decade, a trend likely to continue in the foreseeable future. While a great deal of investment has been focusing on exploration and production, leading North Africa countries are now focusing on building up their refining infrastructure to support their export targets as the growth in global energy consumption is sustained.

In light of these events, the North Africa Journal brings the "North Africa Petroleum and Security Forum: Positive Outlook Amid a Challenging Security Climate".
