This event is the ideal platform for the participants to discuss the current state and methods of water resource management under extreme conditions and to present results of the latest research in order to provide possible trends for further development of water resources management policy. To make the conference more efficient World Meteorological Organization is expected to present the International Flood Management concept, and this will be a good opportunity to consider the needs and advances of flood management policy as well.
