The 4th Nutraceutical Summit 2008 , India's leading event of the Nutraceutical industry is scheduled from February 21-23, 2008, at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai. The event has emerged as the biggest congregation of the Nutraceutical Fraternity in India over the
last three years.
The focal theme of the 4 th Nutraceutical Summit is "Key Trends in Nutraceuticals and Food: Novel Ingredients, New Applications & Business Opportunities". The event will comprise of an International Conference, Nu Fundas - Health & Food Expo, Doctors and Nutritionists Forum, Poster Session, Special Networking Events like the CEO Summit and B2B Forum.
The summit is organized by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) , Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communication Co. and supported by the leading Industry associations of India like HADSA, OPPI, IDMA, ADMA & ABLE.
4th Nutraceutical Summit is an important networking platform where the who's who of the Nutraceutical fraternity will converge to showcase their products and services, to transform concepts into markets, explore investment and partnering opportunities and forge new alliances in the Nutraceutical Industry.
The 4 th Nutraceutical Summit is expected to attract over 200 organizations in both the International Conference and Exhibition, with over 40 speakers, over 250 delegates and 100 exhibitors.
Nutraceutical Summit was initiated as a pioneering effort to bring all the stakeholders of this flourishing industry face to face. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd Nutraceutical Summit focused on addressing key topics like Regulatory Mechanism, Lifestyle & Nutraceuticals, New Research initiatives, Global Trends in Dietary Supplements & Functional Foods, Role of Biotech in Nutraceuticals, Women & Nutraceuticals and Opportunities for Traditional Knowledge Industry.
The summit brought together Pharmaceutical Companies, Research Institutes, Venture Capitalists, to deliberate on the key issues and to develop Unified Indian Vision. Last year over 50 Speakers from India and Overseas, over 300 delegates and 150 organisations, came together in the International Conference to shape India 's future in this USD 80 billion global industry.
