Description
Anna University has been established
at Tiruchirappalli, to cater the needs of technical
education in the central region of Tamil Nadu.The
University has 51 affiliated colleges, with various
faculties in Engineering and Technology
associated with the fields of Pharmaceuticals,
Bio, Chemical, Information and Communication,
Civil, Mechanical,Electrical & Electronics. The
University aims to provide student need centered
technical education which would aid to absorb
in the society with high degree of employability.
Department of Pharmaceutical
Engineering & Technology
The Department established in the year
1999, offers B.Tech Pharmaceutical Engineering
and Technology, M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutics &
Pharmaceutical Analysis) and Ph.D. programme.
The budding pharmaceutical engineering
professionals are shaped by experienced, young,
talented and motivated faculty members. B.Tech
Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology is
a novel course in India, catering to the technical
aspects of the Pharmaceutical industry. It
merges the Pharmaceutical sciences with
chemical engineering principles to render the
students who can serve both in technical and
research & development areas. The Department
is equipped with facilities for Post graduation and
research.
ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
This symposium “Exploring the
Research Platform for Pharmaceutical Product
and Process Development” is aimed at
highlighting and demonstrating the latest
developments in this area by assembling
together the dynamic persons from both
academia and industries.

Submission of Abstract
A hard and soft copy of the abstract
not exceeding 200 words should be sent on or
before 28’ Feb 08 to the convener indicating the
theme under which paper is to be considered.
Only four authors per paper is allowed. Highlight
the presenting author.
