About PCTE Institutes
Punjab College of Technical Education was established in August 1999 by Punjab Management Education Trust at Ludhiana. At present, PCTE has more than 1400 students enrolled in 10 various courses namely MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, BHMCT, B.Sc. (Hotel Management), B.Sc.(Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality Management), B.Pharmacy, B.Sc.(Bio Technology), B.Sc. (Media & Film Technology) and Ph.D. programme. PCTE has been ranked 37th and Best Business School of Punjab, HP and J&K by OUTLOOK survey 2007 consecutively 4th year of survey. AIMA and Business India B-School surveys 2007 has rated PCTE A grade upper category B-School and A+ grade B-School fourth year in a row. Business World has ranked PCTE 12th among all B-Schools of India on the basis of Learning Experience in B-School survey 2007. PCTE is the first B-School of India to get registered with LIMCA Book of Records. PCTE has more than 30 foreign students studying in various courses coming from different parts of Africa such as Tanzania, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Uganda and Mozambique. PCTE has eight academic collaborations with leading institutions of South Africa, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. PCTE students of MBA programme have bagged 6 Gold Medals out of 7 decided so far in the University Exams since its inception. PCTE has record placements of 100% for MBA passouts. Few head hunters are Castrol India, Berger Paints, ULTRATECH, ACC, Trident, ICICI Bank, Centurion Bank of Punjab, Reliance General Insurance, Standard Chartered, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Citibank and many more. PCTE students of current batch of MBA and MCA have got an average package of Rs. 3.03 lakh per annum.
About the Conference & Theme
Business today has become extremely challenging due to certain global economic developments such as entry of new set of emerging economies on world map, changing consumer trends world wide, technological advancements, fast Infrastructural & communication developments, etc. These developments have resulted into new business environment worldwide leading to strategies such as mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures, diversification etc. All these developments are bringing changes in the development and implementation of new strategies in different business areas. The theme of the conference focuses on Business Challenges in Global Emerging Scenario for the National and Multinational corporate world & the strategies adopted by Industry to combat with the challenge emerging out of latest developments worldwide. The Idea is to understand and put forth the challenges undiscovered and develop strategies to negate their burning effects.
The papers are invited from the participants having experience in the following discipline of management: Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Retail Management, Customer Relationship Management, Rural and Agriculture Marketing or any other relevant area suitable to theme of the conference.

Research Papers are invited from Academicians/Research Scholars from national / international institutes and Executives/ Practicing Managers from national and international level corporate/industry.

General Instructions for Paper Submission:
1. Paper should not be more than 3000 words typed in Ms Word, Times New Roman, 12 size, 1.5 spacing.
2. Paper should contain Abstract not more than 500 words along with KEYWORDS.
3. One paper should not contain more than 2 authors.

Registration Details
The participants are required to fill & submit the complete registration form with in a week’s time after getting the acceptance along with necessary fee, as per the details given below:
For National Participants
Academicians/Executives: Rs. 1500/- per participant
Research Scholars: Rs.1000/- per participant
For International Participants:
Academicians/Executives: 50 US $ per participant
Research Scholars: 40 US $ per participant
Note
• It is required that at least one author to present paper in the conference. Fee will be charged per participant basis. Fee includes kit, Lunch, and refreshment.
• Accommodation assistance & transport services will be provided on request basis and the charges are to borne by the participants themselves.
