THEME: Transportation and Logistics in Nigeria National Development
RATIONALE: This summit which is the first in the series of planned Annual Summits is borne out of the desperate need to harness the potentials of the Transport and Logistics sector in Nigeria national development. Its diagnostic nature will provide the enabling environment to chart a sustainable future for the industry through interactive and specialist brain-storming and trouble shooting sessions. It will further serve as an avenue to engage full public, private and professional partnership (PPPP) which is critical to the evolution of strategic policy agenda.
At the end of the summit, a Strategic Policy Group (SPG) – (Transport and Logistics) will be inaugurated to package the summit outcomes to inform policy. Furthermore, the body will meet regularly to drive the process.
This is a unique opportunity for you to make your invaluable contributions to this critical sector of the economy in such a time as this.
OBJECTIVES: The main objectives of the summit are:-
 To provide a forum for stake holders (government, professionals, investors, service providers and users) to discuss the challenges facing the industry with a view to charting the cause of Sustainable development.
 Populate policy agenda necessary for the delivery of effective and integrated transport and logistics management in Nigeria.
 Strengthen the link between institutions: Government, professionals, service providers and users.
 Create an institutional linkage for marketing transport and logistics services
 Adopt strategies towards adequate regulatory framework for the purpose of competitiveness.
Summit Methodology: The format of the summit will be paper presentation and parallel discussions. There will be a lead paper on each day of the summit followed by specialist topic to be delivered by renowned experts before the breakout sessions. The sessions which run concurrently will be chaired and a communiqué will be issued at the end of the summit. We are committed to ensuring gender balance as much as possible in the representation.
Target Audience: The summit is of national consequence and so government ministers, national and state assemblies, heads of parastatals and others Policy makers, Managing Directors, chief executives and captains of industries, director Generals, General Managers and heads, investors, academics and consultants etc.
Target Sectors: Aviation, Maritime, Road Transport, Rail transport, Pipeline, Logistics, oil and Gas Manufacturing, Construction, Tourism, Insurance, Telecommunications, Financial Institutions, Insurance and Postal and delivery organizations etc.

Summit Fees and Registration
The registration fee is N50, 000.00 local participants and $750 international participants. This includes conference materials and meals but excludes accommodation.
