Occupational Health Psychology concerns the application of principles and practices in applied psychology to occupational health and safety issues for the promotion of the quality of working life.

The European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology was founded in 1999 to provide pan-European representation for research, education and professional practice in the discipline. One of its major activities is its biennial conference which attracts delegates from more than thirty countries who gather to share innovations and best practice in the field. The theme of the Valencia conference is ‘putting knowledge into practice’. Contributions on topics from all areas of occupational health psychology are welcomed.
