TheOneTdi Company – International PR & Events Management and The National Center for Environment Protection (CNPM) have the honor to announce organizing in Bucharest, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel during 10 – 11 June 2008, the first regional environment forum
„Environment – Between Present and Future”

The event is the first of it’s kind and the span that takes place in Romania after it’s entrance in to the European Union and it wishes, through it’s issues and the invited personalities, to dare the Romanian and Regional Authorities to a more direct and ceaseless involvement in protecting the environment.

The event’s objectives are:

• Evaluation of the regional impact concerning the climate changes and pollution;
• Evaluation of the impact of the integration process in the EU towards the Central and South-Eastern states;
• The investment level in the environment protection level in the region;
• Information of the European and international investors in the environment towards the concrete conditions in the Central and South-Eastern Europe;
• Awareness on the companies’ and civil societies’ role in the national and local companies framework concerning the environment protection;
• Achievement of direct contacts between the international affairs environment representatives and the central and local officials in the public administration that manage the structural funds;
• Sharing the experience of the EU states (Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, Spain) that confronted with similar issues to those of the latest adherence;
• Information of the local administration representatives on the technological solutions available for them;
• Information of the local companies in the target area on the possibilities of creating joint ventures with enterprises in the well-developed EU states;
• Sensitizations of the Romanian civil concerning the major importance of the direct involvement in the environment protection and against pollution (through realizing a symbolic concert – Romania Save Earth, and also two local campaigns called Velocity/Pe doua roti (on 2 wheals) and Nutzicademana)

The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel during 10 – 11 June 2008 and will contain four seminaries, one plenary session, one exhibition with products and services that are specific to Romania and the EU states, one Business Lounge, a series of labor visits to certain important locations in the field, one press conference with regional participation, one photography exhibition, and two actions for sensitization of the participants, the media and inhabitants of Bucharest concerning the global environment impact organized by one NGO. The details of the program are to be attached.

The participation of certain speakers of international range and also Al Gore or Jeremy Rifkin could make out of this the most important event on this issue in the South-East Europe; at the same time one must not forget the regional aspect that we wish to transmit through the participation of the most important countries in the region, in the idea of what we succeeded in transmitting at the “Future of the Infrastructure in the Central and Eastern Europe” forum – it’s first edition, 7-8 November 2007 – that of Bucharest, Romania, can and must become the most important debates place concerning the vital issues of the moment – infrastructure, environment, urban development etcetera.
To this event we invited the Romanian Presidency, the Romanian Government, and the European Commission as well to render us Patronage and sustaining together with us such important message for national, regional and European environment protection. At that certain moment we shall receive all the confirmations we are to transmit them to you (at this very moment we have one confirmation coming of Environment and Sustainable Development Ministry and the Environment Fund Administration.
