The All Africa Students Conference aims to promote the exchange of ideas and information on sustainable development in Africa and establish linkages between Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean and Africa. The conference will help delegates identify problems and solutions, which will enable Africa to become an effective partner in International trade and development. The AASC intends to create an agenda for the promotion of understanding among youth and students beyond the confines of ethnic, gender, generational and national differences, as well as promoting inquiry into how the adoption of a new approach to studies abroad can produce a create force in the development of Africa and the Africa Diaspora. The conference will also emphasize the crucial contribution that African students and their counterparts in the Diaspora can make, as well as lead Africa into the future with a spirit of service and commitment. In this way, it will build a stronger sense of collaboration among ourselves as Africans and members of the African Diaspora as we expand the basis for a Pan African network. The AASC will provide a forum for establishing acquaintances and galvanising bases for the continued co-operation and brotherhood/ sisterhood with all those who have the wellbeing and interest of African people at heart.
