Natural sciences are one of the most rapidly growing field of science. They are crucial for better understanding the world around us but also for introducing new technologies to improve the quality of our everyday life. To keep in touch with current achievements in those disciplines, we decided to organise International Life Sciences Students Conference Warsaw 2008.

It will be the second edition of the event which took place in November 2007 in Ljubljana. Participants of Slovenian conference were natural sciences students from 21 countries. Enormous success of the previous conference inspired students' societies to organise annual events in various countries in Europe.

The main aim of the conference is gathering students from all over the world. They will present results of their own research and extend scientific acquaintances.

Participants of our conference, BSc, MSc and PhD students of life sciences, will give their presentations in English. Presentations will be arranged in five sections concerning different aspects of natural sciences (e.g. molecular biology, general biology, disease prevention, human and animal wellness, environmental protection, alternative energy sources).
