Feedforth is an international conference organised by Nagoya University graduate students, created to explore opportunities for academic dialogue among researchers operating in diverse fields. It is the goal of Feedforth to address the following questions:

- what can we gain if we as researchers are aware of the work of our colleagues in diverse fields?
- How can we learn from each other if we are given the opportunity to step back from the intricacies of our particular subject and take a broader view; both of our own work, and of the commonality between researchers' problems, approaches and solutions?
- How might new, rewarding academic partnerships be formed?

Now in its third year, Feedforth was created both as an opportunity for exchange, and as an answer to problems we perceived in other conferences involving their approach to the discussion among presenters and guests. Feedforth is an attempt to create our vision of an ideal conference: a lively environment for constructive criticism, with emphasis on discussion and audience interaction, and equality among all.

We are currently accepting papers for presentation at the Feedforth 2008 session. Please visit our homepage for more details.
