Description
Attendees will obtain high-quality professional development regarding research-based instructional strategies designed to ensure that young learners are successful readers and writers. Over 150 sessions including early literacy sessions for K-2 teachers, intermediate literacy sessions addressing grades 3 – 6, classroom literacy sessions for grades K - 6; literacy coaching sessions; Reading Recovery sessions; and administrative and research sessions for school administrators. Conference also includes: 9 Featured Speakers, 7 Preconference Institutes, the School Administrators Institute and concurrent sessions, and Keynote speakers Billie Askew, P. David Pearson, and Pam Muñoz Ryan.
