An outstanding faculty of leading civilian and military trauma surgeons will review the most important lessons from the war and develop practice recommendations for the care of the injured at our civilian trauma centers in the United States. The content of this important conference will include resuscitation from hemorrhagic shock, severe traumatic brain injury, 21st Century damage control surgery, rebuilding wounded warriors - war orthopedics, and training trauma surgeons for war and peace.
