THIS IS CONFERENCE TO GO TO IF YOU CAN ONLY GO TO ONE THIS YEAR. (recurring comment on evaluations each year)
This is true academic conference, all faculty are invited, sessions are mainly evidence or research based and are preferred practice. Sessions are grouped into Core and Advanced Medical, mental health, Child Traumatic Stress Intervention, Domestic Violence, Offenders, Forensic Interviewing,Legal, Investigations, Prevention, Child Welfare, Diversity, Child Advocacy Centers, Global Perspectives, and Research. Preconference Institutes are select topics within a full day learning venue. Topics include, Sexual Exploitation, Attachment, Sexual Abuse Forensic Medical Examz, Psychological First Aid Skills, Advanced Forensic Interviewing, Medical-Legal Update on Abusive Head Trauma, and Global Poverty: child protection, rights and advocacy and others. SPECIAL WEEK-LONG CERTIFICATE COURSE ON CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION FOR INVESTIGATORS.
