Description Abcam is pleased to announce its second international Neurodegeneration meeting following the success of Molecular Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration 2007. The conference will be held at Meliá all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico March 3-6, 2009, and organized by Abcam and Dr. Andrew Dillin, Pioneer Developmental Chair and an associate professor in the Molecular and Cell Biology Laboratory.

Topics will include:

- Diseases of aging III: neurodegeneration
- Organismal aging: vertebrates
- The aging proteome
- The aging genome

Abstracts for oral and poster presentation are invited. Those which most closely fit within the topics of the meeting will be selected. Posters will be judged. The winner will receive up to $150 off their registration for a future Abcam conference or an antibody from the Abcam catalog.
- Oral abstract deadline: October 24, 2008
- Poster abstract deadline: December 31, 2008
Space for posters is unlimited.

Melia Puerto Vallarta is an all inclusive beach resort. The registration fee is fully inclusive of:
- attendance at sessions (plenary & poster)
- accommodation for the nights of March 3,4, and 5
- breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments of March 3,4, and 5
- welcome drinks reception
- conference materials, including a book of abstracts
