IT and management today has a powerful and growing influence in business, industry and education. This conference will consolidate recent research in information systems, knowledge management, commercial intelligence, electronic commerce, e-education, e-learning, office automation, textile and garment, automobile electronic, logistics, retail,
supply chain, finance, accounting, banking, the law, government, education and media.

The mission of the Institute of Systems Management is to facilitate the application of the information technology to industrial enterprises, and to promote interdisciplinary cross-fertilization in the areas of business applications and information systems. The conference’ industrial case presentations and tutorial sessions will bridge the gap between academics and practitioners.

Original papers not being submitted to journals or other conferences will be considered. All submitted papers will be evaluated according to their originality, significance, correctness, presentation and relevance. Papers should be submitted online at our website, or electronically to

Please follow the instructions given by the web page. We encourage authors to present novel ideas, critiques of existing work, and practical studies and experiments.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of The 2nd International Conference of information Technology and Management (ICITM2009). At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register
as a full participant of the workshop to have the paper published in the proceedings.

Proposals are invited for high-quality half-day tutorials. Proposals should include a two-page description and motivation for the topic of the tutorial, the full name and address of the tutorial speaker(s), a concise description of the contents and goals of the tutorial with a few keywords for each section, a rough estimate of the time spent on each section, the level of the tutorial, the required audience experience, and the speaker(s) biography.
