Description
Training Needs Analysis is an invaluable tool that can qualitatively determine the direction of any company. It is particularly useful in addressing skill gaps, increasing productivity & reducing wastage of resources. However, the challenge to gain the management acceptance & approval is very important to ensure a TNA’s success. Those charged with carrying out a TNA process must be competent & thorough in their presentation & yet concise in their presentation. The aspect of the ROI & the future benefits that can be derived from TNA must be convincingly presented to the management. The TNA process can be useful in the aspect of the management of the training budgets as it can be seen that the solutions recommended will be able to address any skill gaps that may be present in any organisation. All future trainings are conducted in a more professional manner & not as a ‘fire fighting’ approach to show activity. Rather it is a scientifically researched process to minimise loss, reduce rework, financial resources & effectively contribute to the bottom line deliverables. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Understand the use of the TNA as an overall management tool for organisational growth
• Determine which is the best & most effective type of trainings to carry out
• Understand how to maximise the human capital development process
• Address management challenges & be more competitive in the current borderless world of knowledge economy
• Reduce or minimise the effect of staff attrition
• Structure sound & systematic training processes that are justifiable
