Description The Digital Forensics Forum helps to bridge the gap between IT Security and Forensics Investigation, and fosters important information sharing on strategy and technology between the private sector, law enforcement agencies, and other similar governmental organizations. Similarly, the liaison between the various segments of the private sector means that strategies, analysis methodology and investigation techniques can be shared, which helps to ensure that the ‘sensor’ view of all disciplines is as accurate as possible. Such relationships provide far more useful data, and have much greater value to investigations that become full‐scale criminal inquiries.
To all the relevant sectors, whether private or law enforcement and government, the exchange of critical strategies and analysis methodology is an important part of securing the future, and the DFF exchange represents a true ‘win‐win’ scenario for all involved. This exchange of key information and knowledge means that reporting organizations can provide valuable data to LEA’s, courts, internal auditors, fraud investigators and other similar organizations. The DFF ensures participants have all the knowledge necessary to provide the ‘right data’ at the ‘right time’.
Attendees of the DFF are exposed to the latest methodologies used to modify security frameworks, and to support internal/external auditing processes. Leaders in IT Governance and risk analysis provide a strong platform of dialogue and information sharing to attendees of the DFF, and enhance any organization’s security framework.
Representatives from Law Enforcement Agencies are given the opportunity to view the latest techniques in all fields, and can develop modified versions of ‘traditional’ methodology for their specialized work. This ensures that correct correlations are established in less time, preprocessed and combined more quickly, and ultimately providing more valuable data in a far more efficient and timely manner.
DFF Arabia 2008 is a must for professionals in the areas of:

In addition to a comprehensive and world‐class conference program, the world’s leading providers of products and services to the IT Security and Digital Forensics marketplace will be available for discussion. They will also have the opportunity to exhibit their products, technologies and services, both in presentations and workshops, to ensure that all attendees are kept aware of the most advanced products available to the market today.
The Digital Forensics Forum targets the highest level of talent in all areas, ensuring the ‘best and brightest’ are given the opportunity to share knowledge in a comfortable and inspiring environment. The DFF is held only once per year, in the exciting and dynamic city of Manama, Bahrain, and is limited to only 300 attendees. In 2008, the DFF will focus on attendees from the Middle East and North Africa, sighting a significant opportunity for professionals in the region to come together in this unique environment, and make great strides in securing the regions critical interests.
The Digital Forensic Forum Arabia 2008 is organized under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Bin Saud Al Faisal of Saudi Arabia, and by Al Hisn Al Waqi for Technology Services, with its head office in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, as well as Risk Analysis Consultants, based in Prague, Czech Republic.
