International Forum to address internal threats to business (International Forum)
Venue: Hong Kong
| Event Date/Time: Sep 25, 2008 | End Date/Time: Sep 26, 2008 |
Description
One of the big international group has acknowledged publicly that it had a problem
with the honesty of some of its employees. The institution has bought a new
generation of super-smart computer sofware that will enable it to keep better tabs
on its 67,000 staff.
The computer program will monitor 75 million transactions a day by branch and
call-centre staff in an attempt to identify suspicious patterns and nail the
culprits within the organisation. The institutions said it wanted to protect
customers from threats, “no matter where they come fromâ€.
As the world once again stands back in amazement as a deviant officer almost brings
down a huge organisation, the Forum looks at what you can do to identify high risk
employees, how to spot sections going bad and how to respond if they do – and
whether you can ever get the money back...and more.
