| Description |
ISC '08, the second in a series of conferences on “Information Security and Cryptology” is organized by the Information Security Association, in collaboration with Telecommunication Authority, Gazi University and Middle East Technical University. This series of conferences is a successor to the National Cryptology Symposium (2005, 2006) and Digital Signature Conference (2006).
The need for processing, storing and sharing information in electronic environments requires securing the information and detecting the possible security loopholes. A powerful information security can be achieved by innovative research conducted in the field of "Information Security and Cryptology". We, Information Security Association, Telecommunication Authority, Gazi University and METU, aim to make "Information Security and Cryptology" an internationally recognized conference which will focus on a different topic in the field each year. This year the main topic of the International Information Security and Cryptology Conference is “Homeland Security”. We are hoping that this conference will be a platform to discuss information security, to present new approaches and applications, and to inform wider audiences about security of the nation. We also believe that this conference will positively affect the researches and applications conducted in the field of information security and cryptology.
The submitted papers will be evaluated by the program committee. Accepted papers, reviewed by (at least) three program committee members, will be published in conference proceedings. Further information about the conference can be obtained from our web site.
We kindly invite you to participate in the conference (with or without a paper) to share your knowledge with others.
