| Description |
The LDEC, is an accredited CME event that is held on annual basis organized by the Libyan Association for Diabetes and Endocrinology. Over 3 days there are plenary state of the artm memorial and Medal lectures in addition to symposia works shops and small group interactive case-based discussion session together with poster sessions and free oral communication sessions. Associated with sposors exhibtions and staellite functions.

In line with the current practices in Libya, the event is freely open for all relevant delegates within target groups No registration fees. It is highly recognized and over the last 3 years its opening ceremony was attended by the minister for health and the cheif of the medical training body (libyan board for medical specialities) and a few national figures and had received good media coverage.
